Pacific Northwest Trip-Post #2

Day 2 of our Seattle adventure found us in Mt. Vernon for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. It was the last day of the event so the majority of the blooms were gone, but it was still beautiful, and (bonus!) it was free. Trae wanted to stop at the Porterhouse after the festival to try some local brews. We went to the Mariners vs. Rangers game that evening and I believe we were the only Rangers fans in the entire stadium…But my husband proudly wore his jersey, as you’ll see in a photo below. The Rangers won, by the way. Also shown are some of the local beers purchased and brought home with us.

jana - Thanks, Kaytee! We did have such a wonderful time! I’m kind of obsessed with that part of the country now and I’m seriously trying to figure out how long I have to wait until we can go back :)
